Downloading Facebook videos — how it works

How it works
Copy the video link from Facebook (“Share” → “Copy link”, or the address bar), paste it into the field above and click “Analyze”. The service collects the available formats — just pick one and download.
MP4 and a real MP3
Videos are saved as MP4 — the universal format that opens on any device. The “Audio 192 kbps” option extracts the soundtrack and converts it to a real MP3 with ffmpeg — handy for music and podcasts.
Supported links
Links like facebook.com/watch?v=..., facebook.com/<page>/videos/..., facebook.com/reel/... and short fb.watch/... all work. Mobile m.facebook.com addresses are normalized automatically.
No Facebook login needed
The service fetches the video on its side, so you don't have to open Facebook in your browser — a link is enough. It works on phones too: files go to “Downloads” on Android or via the “Share” menu on iPhone.
Which videos can't be downloaded
Private videos, friends-only posts and some Reels are only served to logged-in users — the service will clearly mark such links as unavailable. Public videos and page videos download without restrictions.
If a link won't analyze
Check that the video opens publicly (try an incognito window) and copy the address again. For short fb.watch links it's often more reliable to open the video and take the final URL from the address bar.
